Faith that can move mountains? Do you have it?

How strong is your faith?

21 Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done.22 If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”

I know that at times I question my own faith, do I have what it takes to do the things the Lord asks of me? Probably not, but through Him I know that all things are possible. Sadly, when it comes to crunch time I would most likely look at the “mountain” and look for some power tools, a stick of dynamite, etc. before even considering God.

This is the human condition most of us suffer from, so how do we overcome this?

What is your “mountain” that you are having a difficult time moving?

Was God the first “tool” you searched for in your “toolbox”? How long will you try to search for a path through, over or around this mountain before you call on God to help you with it?

    You know I really hate to admit this but this has been an issue the Lord has addressed with me in the past! He said, “Amy, you trust me with your life but you don’t trust me with the little things. I want you to trust me in the little things too.”

    I have a hard time trusting the Lord with little things like my marriage, financial stuff, and even with his calling on my life. It scares me to death for some reason to trust anyone…including the Lord. Is it right? No but it’s my honest response.

    I would like to say that I have given him total control of my marriage and have taken a leap of faith in moving forward in the direction I believe he would like for me to go! So, mountain…BE READY TO BE MOVED!
